You need the carb number to get the exact setting but 13/32 should be enough to keep your truck running without any trouble. If you can smell gas a lot then cut it back to 11/32 and if you are having trouble with acceleration or cutting out, bump it up to 15/32. You can get the exact number from a build sheet from a carb kit with the carb number or by vehicle too. Hope this helps.

Need for a 1993 izuzu pickup thats not getting gas to carberator

what engine? there are like 7 world wide. is car USA
the word PICKUP is both generic and real trade mark. how do you mean that word, USA pickup 93? or some other pickup sold world wide, looks like pickup but has other names (vast)_
ill guess USA, 2.3-liter 4ZD1,
outside usa its a FASTER (and huge list of names)
the usa engine sure did have a CARB, last one was 1994 in usa,
and Isuzu made that car... ending carbs forever.

how do you know that? (NOT GETTING FUEL)
no method stated.
looking down air horn cranked (boom , eye browse burned)
or cracking lines looking at dribble.?
or see the High speed accelerator pump dead, in carb. horn viewed?
how?
CARB 101 (basic basics)
one isuzu with carb has glass float bowl lid (yah scary) does yours>?
1: fuel pressure at spec, 3.5 PSI is spec, (off SM)
2: then if that's ok , the glass in front of the FLOAT bowl shows
fuel lever there is on the line, proper. ! float level.
3: if you look in there and see lots of CRUD, bingo.
4: if dry now, or low, the float valve is gummed up or stuck closed.
5: if fuel is too high it floods.
6: if all the above is ok the carb jets are clogged with junk as all do.
end (super basics carb) we can go like this for days, on carbs.
seen all fails, of all kinds, carbs. endless. they are.
ever fix quadrajets or SU carbs, you seen lots of failures.

How to set a quadrajet carberator on a 6.6liter 403 olds motor in a 1979 Pontiac transam

How did you set the float? Usually you use a drill bit of the proper size to check the float tang clearance to the needle valve.

I have 99 chev pu 4.3 just put new head gaskets on .now I can not get the timing cam retard off -22.whats wrong.everything was set at top dead center.dist lines up on mark 6 inside it. Help

the book shows chev 4.3 L is a v6 chain driven and the valve timing is correct when the two dots line up with each other
if it is the ignition timing that you are talking about you are probably 180 degrees out in the distributor setting
no 1 piston firing lines the rotor button up at no one HT lead and not no 6
all engines regardless are timed of no piston tdc and chev engines are around the 12 degrees btdc for operation

I need a diagram of a 4 barrel carb. i don;t know what a mixture screw adjust butterfly position and float level means.

The mixture screws are at the bottom front of the 2 front barrels. They poke into the barrels from outside the carb.
Butterfly usually refers top the throttle plates that open and close the barrels, but if you have a quadrajet, they may also refer to the upper plates on the back 2 barrels that only open when the throttle is wide open.
The float level is the distance of the top of the float when the float valve is closed. As gas flows into the bowl thru the float valve, the float rises and eventually closes when the proper float level is reached by the gas.

Look here for example: http://www.holley.com/data/Products/Technical/199R8339.pdf

Looking for Rochester Quadrajet float specifications.

To find the exact specs you need the carb ID number. It should be stamped on the side of the float bowl. It is an 8 digit number and should start with 1708.
I have books that will give me the float setting but I need that number. If it starts with some other numbers that's okay, it just means it's not the original carb but I still need that number. Just comment back on this post. Hope this helps.

How do you take off a rear door panel 05 chev pu

On the inside trim, you can remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. Then you'll need to manipulate the panel and disconnect the door handle linkage from the door handle and disconnect the wiring for your controls.

1989 Chev PU , Aircon Dead , Want to Convert

Anyone can convert R12 to R134. It is as simple as screwing the two adapters on the low side and high side charging ports. Now to charge it you need to evacuate it as you said and then charge the system with R134. The hardest part is finding the way to evacuate and then recharge the system without going to a repair facility.
