Do I need a compressor bypass pulley for a 2007 montana sv6 with a 3.9l engine or is there a shorter belt that can delete the a/c compressor altogether?

Hi S Ant, Im AL the owner of Big As Auto Repair

The answer to your question is "YES" you can match up a shorter belt to eliminate the A/C Compressor and later when you can afford to repair it, be sure to keep your old belt. Hope this helps and if you should find the time please visit my auto-repair-website HERE: http://www.bigasautorepair.com/

Get a new car,a lincoln ?

Do you have $60,000 in disposible cash?

The reason it was done twice, is that you
need a new compressor,not a reman

I don't like that myself, but we all learn the
hard way.

Your condenser was just old, corroded &
banged up from road debris,so no big deal

Fix it I guess. Not for another $1,300

Hi IM AL the owner of Big As Auto Repair

The cycling switch is what keeps the system from freezing up and comes in different forms for instance. Some vehicles is located inside the a/c housing close to or pushed inside the evaporator, on other vehicles it's the low pressure switch. NO, you do not have to much Freon because if you did the high side pressure would go well past 350 to 400 psi. I would google how to change the cycling switch on your vehicle and watch the video. Hope this helps and have an awesome day. AL with Big A's Auto Repair.

Air conditioning isn't coming out as cold as it should

you just might be low on freon...have it checked at your local repair shop or you can even add it yourself just look for the fill valve on the (big) low pressure line from the compressor

05 Jeep liberty- A/C compressor runs in all phases

This is Common. The Compressor will run even on Heat settings. It is simply Priming for actions that the Owner could Initiate. Not a big Problem.
