My 1995 Mazda MPV van, 3.0L w/ac and automatic transmission was running kind of rough. I decided to cange the fuel filter and after I did this the van would not turn over. I can hear a clicking sound going to the relay, thats all. There are two wires that go to the starter, one is from the battery and this has 12v going to the starter, the other wire is from the ignition area and there is no voltage coming from it at all. People were telling me about a reset switch but I was unable to locate one. I need advice...Please [email protected]

The firing order is 1-4-2-5-3-6. The cylinders are, front bank is from drivers side to passenger, 6-5-4 , and 3-2-1 at the firewall. This is for a 2004 Mazda MPV.

you may need to run a wire from a keyed ignition source that has power while cranking and running to the fuel pump relay and bypass the pcm to test wether it will run, if it runs put a more permanent wire in place.Not too sure what tests youve done but it seems that fuel is what your focusing on so a quick test is too spray engine start up the intake tube to see if the engine trys to run if it does it eliminates a lot of other potential reasons for a no start condition.Also try squeezing the fuel return line to see if the added pressure will try to make engine run.Could be time to replace fuel pump etc anyway let me know how it goes good luck with it

I have a corolla and had #4 cylinder misfire also diagnosed at autozone. After changing the spark plugs, problem persisted, along with the same error code, so they recommended changing the spark plug wires, and that is what fixed it. I would have changed the rotor cap too, but was low on dough. Glad that was not the problem.

yes it could be the starter next time it won't start give the starter motor a tap with a hammer or wheel brace also check where the small blade connector is there should be a fuse in line could be the problem hope this helps regards Jim

I disagree. I believe there is 2 cats on the 03 MPV. If you look under the car. The 2 pipes from the headers meet right before the muffler. There is 1 cat under the vehicle and another right off the header (looks like an old glass pack muffler).
