You can do a basic system reset by removing the Neg battery terminal for about 30sec. This will reset the main computer to normal factory settings. It will NOT change, update, or install new engine programs, nor will it increase performance in any way. It will just reset the main computer.

I take it you changed the computer. Or why would you reset the computer that was in the car. If you replaced the computer with one specifically the same part number the computer should not need reset. If you are talking about resetting miles, that won't happen.
you might have to reset keyless remote and or computer easy fix is on google type in search the make and model and reset keyless remote and computer for doors very simple
Test the coil pack for cyl #3 first. A bad coil will cause the computer to give that code. To reset the computer remove both battery cables and touch them together for a minute or two, then reinstall them and then go drive the car for more than 20 minutes in traffic, stop and go so the computer will relearn inputs from all the engine sensors.
To reset a computer disconnect the negative terminal. But that doesnot clear check engine light. This only reset the long adaptive fuel stratagy. To reset the parameter youll need a generic scan tool. Only a generic scan tool can reset the computer. There is a prom and ram. those are set and cannot be cleared
There is not a computer reset button installed on the car anywhere you need to have a computer that connects to the ecu on the car (the cars computer) with the computer attached you can reset codes or reset the computer.
if you had it replaced it should have already been set however you can reset your cars computer
by taking the positive battery cable off the battery and waiting 2-3
min and then touching the positive cable from the car to the negative
cable which is still attached to the neg post on the battery for about
5 sec and the hooking it back up. that will reset the computer which
would configure any new sensors. when the computer reads a bad code it
bypasses that sensor so your car will run. it wont run to the best of
its ability though - that's why you didn't pass an inspection. when you
replaced the sensor the computer didn't notice because it already
stopped reading that sensor when it went bad and doesnt know about the
new one. when you reset the computer as i told you then it will read
the new sensor and work properly.
the PCM (computer) will not cause this problem, a defective fuel pump check valve will, to reset the computer (PCM) all u need to do is disconnect the battery for 10 minutes.
