Passenger window won't go up on 2003 Montana. The window motor is good. What two wires(colors) can I jump on the switch plug to make it go up? It will go down from the driver's side switch and the passenger side switch, but not up.

At the passenger switch its the Dark Blue and Brown wires. At the Master switch its the Light Blue and Tan wires. But I think your problem is a bad Master Switch

I changed the master switch so I'll try by-passing the circuit with your solution.

so you had already replaced the switch? that would have been good info to share. If I read your post correctly it would not go up with either switch, only down.

I have the same problem, put in a new switch, still will go down but not up, no change. Will Go up if I jump power to the blue and brown wires. Is there a relay or module somewhere? Whats next?

OK, which switch, the left (master) or the right? If it goes down, the wires are obviously good. So its a switch problem. The YELLOW wire supplies power to both switches. There are no relays, modules ect. Replace the RIGHT WINDOW SWITCH

After some cracker smashed my window and getting it replaced at Speedy glass I could no longer do up the window. It worked when I left Speedy glass then the wifes friend opened the window and would no longer close. I used the jumper method and worked perfect. Thanks for the guidance. Scott

No, that's not the issue. You have one broken wire from the passenger door window switch to the master switch on the driver's door. Look at the color of the wires at the passenger switch: 3 wires come into it from the cabin, one is a power wire-it must be good if the window goes one way. One of the other two wires (coming from the master switch on driver's door and through the cabin and out to passenger door switch) is broken.
Look for a broken wire in the door openings.

Rear windows won't go down

You also have Circuit Breakers for your windows, Or your Master Switch ,You can Test the Driver Control Switch or the rear switches by removing the Switches and using the connector Plug and a Jump wire try jumping accross the wires,if they go up or down you could have a Bad Switch,if nothing moves more than likely your Window Motor is bad. BUT first CHECK your Circuit Breakers ,It could be Labeled as accessery Relay or circuit Breaker.

Rear windows on 2003 Montana won't close, now that they're open. Is there 2 motor, one for each window. I;ve looked at the switch & all appears okay if it's the motor(s) are they easy to...

If the lockout switch on drivers door is "OFF"... Window fuse's and relay's may be up under passenger side dash or behind glove box.
Could also be a broken wire in the rubber boot going from the door to the body. You will have to eliminate each till you find the culprit.
The motor and the relay are the most likely to cause this problem. Try swapping the relay with a working window relay. If it still doesn't work, remove the door panel and remove the window motor.
Turn the motor shaft in both directions by hand several turns. Then plug the motor in and see if the switch will now run the motor. Sometimes thats all it takes to get it working again. I have had to do this with brand new motors. If voltage is not present at the motor connector, either a bad switch or a broken wire exsists. Make sure to check for voltage coming to that windows switch. Actually, GM use's a circuit breaker type relay for each window and one fuse for all the circuit breakers.

The passenger window will go down but not up got a new motor for it tried it same result

Pop the switch Panel out. Then pop the wire block off the switch you will see holes with metal in it. Take 2 paper clips and connect the brown and black wire. Then the dark blue and yellow wire. Window will go up. Then just get a new switch

Replacing passenger side mirror

If you are replacing the entire mirror assembly you have to remove the door panel.

First remove the switch plate by prying upward at the rear of the switch plate and unhook the connectors. Then remove the two armrest screws. The door panel then has to be pryed away from the door to release the clips. They don't give up easily so yo may have to force it a bit. Once the clips are loose pull up on the panel to remove it from the window reveal molding. The mirror is held on with three 10mm nuts. remove those and unhook the wiring from in the door. Install is reverse of removal.

Good Luck
