Here is a guide for the Subaru Alpine security system:
http://www.cars101.com/subaru/keyless.html#alpine

The link will also list other Subaru systems, but this links to the Alpine portion of the guide. (ie: silence horn, valet mode, etc)

SOURCE: the warning light flashes security

That means the factory security is not arming, not being set. ( i.e. a door is not completely closed or the trunk/door lock has been vandalized ) It could be for other reasons but first check the obvious

If it is a wagon the wiring goes bad back at the gate. If not you need to check the voltage on both sides of the grid and work back till voltage is found.

Dashboard light flashing

flashing ? Or dimming rapidly? there is a problem with the alternators on these vehicles,You will have to remove the alternator and have a screw replaced that will fix the problem. This will have to be done at a alternator repair shop they will know what to do.

2000 taurus left turn signal flashes rapidly and the left rear turn signal lamp does not work. Does ford have burned out bulb sense circuit that would give this indication? The right side flashes normally.

Yes - the fast flashing is a warning that a bulb is burned out. Change the bulb (be careful to put it in the same as the old one as it probably is 2 bulbs in one , parking and turn/stop) and you should be fine.

Battery light brake light and stop lamp light on

Sounds like you have a broken belt for the alternator and power steering.

I have a 2000 pontiac grand am 3.4 liter engine and when i tryed to start it today it wouldnt start.when i looked at the panel i noticed that the security light was flashing.waht can i do to fix this

Turn your key to the "on" position. Your security light will be flashing. Leave it in the on position and wait for 10 minutes. The security light will stop flashing, and it will reset itself. Turn the key back to the off position before trying to start it again.
