My front power outlets are out and I'm sure it is a blown fuse. Is this something I can replace myself or does it have to be done at the dealership? If I can replace it, where is the fuse located? Thank you.
I have same problem, but every time I replace it , it blows immedeately when I plug in lighter or phone charger. the problem I guess further up the chain but no IdeaI have same problem, but every time I replace it , it blows immedeately when I plug in lighter or phone charger. the problem I guess further up the chain but no Idea

Examine the inside of the socket closely. look for a burn mark of some sort. Check the fuse, which I am sure you have done. Replace if blown. Try a different devise in the power point. Could be your devise blowing the fuse every time you use it. I see this a lot in the dealership I work at. If all else fails, remove and check for power without the powerpoint connected. If you have power, re4place power point and have a good day. If no power and fuse is in fact good, well it is time to trace wires. I suggest bat this point to take to a dealer.
First of all, you can't check fuses visibly, but need a test light. But if not the fuse, then you start tracing the circuit with a test light, until you find the discontinuity. Check at junctions, or pierce insulation with a pin if you have to. Remember the circuit has to be complete, so check ground as well.
From the op manual and having done it myself......"the fuse block is located under the instrument panel on the driver side of the vehicle."
Fuse # 7 is for the cig lighter and accessory power outlet.
you blew the fuse. replace it. open glove box, see guide. (free at all dealers) see fuse section? or test all fuses. only 2 ways, one is harder. or go to alldata.com and look there, all is there, full electrics for sure.
Check your fuses. If all are good, then the socket likely went bad. You can get new ones at autozone, and wire them unto the old slot, or see if the dealership has the one that fits the wiring harness. Sometimes fuses can be blown, an you will replace it, only to blow it up again- at that point i would put in a new power outlet.
if the fuses were blown they were blown for a reason. Check the fuses again and make sure they havent blown again. Likely there is a wire touching something it shouldn't
If it were me I would change the fuse before I made a trip to the dealership. Probably spend more money in gas getting to the dealership than just changing the fuse.
