It says in the book that the disc unit for the Sat Nav is in the boot; but where in the boot is it? I have searched but cant find it, just the disc player fitted as part of the the music centre in the dashboard.

Hi, i think a possible answer could be missing power to the reader, if the reader is external.

Mercedes commans sat nav version 4.1 for E220, is saying off road, and when at home is showing on map that I am somewhere in the National Park Peak District. I have been told to remove fuse for sat nav should be no 28 but in boot of car near sat nav cassette fuses in box only go upto 20. Am I looking in the right place?

I assume you have a jaguar sat-nav system installed. To update you can buy an updated disc which is compatible to your car system and which will contain all new information/routes etc. simply load this into you unit and follow any instructions. Hope this helps - good luck!

dignostic at your dealer is the only way to repair this defect.

did any of you find one? i have just bought a SECOND HAND 2004 CRV but no sat nav manual - nothing on the net- any help appreciated.

ok I fixed it....took out the sat nav and cleaned the lens with a cotton bud..WORKS!!!

unplug the radio from the back and plug it back in
