I can't tell you the exact procedure for disassembling the MAF in a Corsica, unfortunately. I can tell you that if you are able to locate and disassemble it, you should handle it with extreme care. The monofilament wires are extremely easy to break. Do not use any object to touch, wipe, brush or scrub at them. I personally don't recommend cleaning the MAF on any vehicle, but if you find that you must, you should use ONLY an electronic cleaning spray. CRC sells an excellent electronic cleaning spray that is non-damagine to plastics. Simply spray the MAF down very thoroughly with the spray and allow it to air dry before reassembly. Beyond that, anything you do to it would be likely to damage it. Any other types of cleaners, such as carb cleaner, would be likely to cause the plastic parts and other delicate electronic components to break down and be ruined. Good luck and let me know how it goes!
