I have a 1993 Buick Lasabre and I need to have the transmission replaced, can I replace it with a 1994 or a 1995 transmission. Thanks.

The tranny is a 4T60 E yes other year models will fit , however make sure the electrical connections have the same number and terminal locations ,the easiest way to find out is to call a salvage yard and give the the year model ,engine size , from the VIN

hope this helps

Ho do you replace the rear transmission mount on a 1999 buick lasabre

unbolt mount from transmission while supporting with jack. Jack up slightly. Unbolt old mount from cross member. Replace in reverse order, do final tightening with jack removed. A few vehicles require the cross member to be removed from frame to access the lower bolts/nuts.

I have a 1993 buick lasabre that doesn't shift out of 2nd, what could be the problem?

Transmission filter needs changed or the Transmission Needs Serviced. I would take it to a service center.

I need to replace a crank shaft position sensor on a 3.8L Lasabre. I bought the part and now need to install it.

The balancer will have to come off, you will need a puller to remove it. Also you will need an air impact wrench to remove and replace the big bolt first.

Buick shakes, guns then almost stops

this sounds very much like a torque converter/transmission issue. i will assume the transmission dial you're speaking of is the tachometer? which measures engine revolutions per minute. to confirm, one could possibly unplug 4-wire connector on transmission near radiator and test drive. this keeps the transmission from going into torque converter lock-up.
