I have a 2002 Silverado 2500 HD 4 dr crew cab, long bed. While out in Lake Havasu in 110 degree heat, which doesn?t help, my coolant temp was getting up over 210 degrees but would come back down as soon as the fan and thermostat opened. Is there a better solution to keeping that temp down without having it climb?

take positive and negative cables off of battery. now take battery hold down bolt out from back side of battery nearest to the cab. now lift battery out.
First try rotating the tires to the rear. Does it go away? If you apply the brakes does it pull to the left? Could be a draging caliper or the slides may be hanging up.
