I need a diagram for spark plugs to distibuter cap for a 89 gmc suberban

Check the distributor cap and rotor for worn or corroded terminals,cracks and burn marks.

the spark controll module is under distributor cap should be black with 2 screws holding down to the distibuter housing with 2 plugs 1 on each side

if im correct in saying this, i think there is a small cylindrical looking piece with one wire comming out from the front in the distributer under the distributer cap next to the points this is could a condenser you could try changing this for a new one all so check the gape your points make if to small you will get no spark as well if to big

there are 2, 4.3 engines should be the same tho

bad cap ????

Check to make sure that the timing mark is there when #1 is TDC.Leave the wire on #1 cylinder and place the plug on somethig metal .With all the other plugs removed bump it over until #1 sparks. I would think that maybe the roll pin that holds the gear to the bottom of distibuter may have shered .This would cause issue.The cam and crank sensor will not make your timming off 180Deg.Timming chain will.But 180Deg I would think not.Where is the #1 cylinder when it is lined up in the cap? Make sure that you can't turn your distributer.Don't think you can turn it that far without removing it.

Jeep 360 and the Mopar 360 are different motors and may have different firing order. The Mopar firing order is 18436572 in a clockwise rotation. It may have a tower labeled 1 for the 1 spark plug.
