crankshaft or camshaft position sensor an/or wiring problem, is it petrol or diesel? if its petrol check wiring at front of engine near crank pulley before changing sensor
well if ur not getting spark and u changed all of the ignition components lets think about the computer in order for the ignition to work you have crankshaft position sensor that fires the fuel injectors and the spark change that and if still nothing then change the camshaft postion sensor that sensor tells the computer that the 1 piston has came all the way up and it tells the crankshaft sensor to do its thing
Lets start at the beginning. If you have a V6 engine you have two cam sensors. And the problem could be the cam sensor(s) is not in sync with the crank sensor due to a problem with the sensor or the timing belt. Code 340 is for bank one sensor one. You could have as many as 4 sensors depending on which engine you have. The mass airflow meter code could keep the engine from starting. The cruise control problem could be related to the cam-crank sensor issue or something else. You should only have one crank sensor and it is usually near the crank pulley in the front of the engine.
The cam sensor is located on the drivers side of the cyl head, inline with the front camshaft. Its black in color, and has a plug connector. The crankshaft sensor is inside the distributor.
befor in the ealier models of accords they use to be both the cam and crank sensors in the distibutor but they separated them !!!So no they are not together on your car tha cam sensor is in the distributor and the crank sensor is in front of engine or in the lower timing belt cover if it is in the timing cover you can see a wire going dow the timing cover way to the bottom on the rear side off it
hope it will help you if you have any question just wright back !!!!
