i thinks is transmission codes. shift errors
and there was a recall on some.
P1 is a factory only code so only suzuki codes work ,and forenza for sure.

post what engine. some cars have diffr. motors. the displacement,? 1.8L , 2.0, 2.5, etc. liters. some have 1 coil some have 4 cop coils. my guess, is the CEL comes on ,you attach a scan tool and you get P0300 (random misfire, , ) right? and no other DTC codes. and what are the driving symptoms. 300s have many causes, not just spark, not in the least.
