Car wont start ,,it clicks all lights are on coud it be my fuel switch off?

Is It a ford Lincoln or mercury?
they have fuel shut off switches in trunk, which activate after accidents

sounds like switch might be bad.. replace the switch if its not tripped and clear any codes in the pcm

Check the fuel pressure when it stops ,could be a faulty fuel pump or even more so a faulty connection plug on the top of the fuel pump gauge sender unit

sounds like a bad starter

IGNITION SWITCH SENSOR OR FAULTY IMMOBILIZER CONTROL MODULE.SCAN VECHICLE FOR A THEFT SECURITY FAULT CODE TO SEE WHATS MALFUNCTION.

check for fuel and spark. if no fuel, spray starting fluid in throttle body. if it starts then quits, its a fuel problem.then check fuel pump relay and or fuse to pump. have a good day !! you may be able to switch relays with another one to see if thats it. but the relays have to be the same number as the old one.

Try starting the car, when the security light comes on, leave the ignition switch on for at least ten minutes then switch it off and repeat. On the third attempt to start , the system should be reprogramed.

TWO THINGS..CHECK THE FUEL INERTIA SWITCH LOCATED IN TRUNK ON LEFT SIDE .ITS A LITTLE BUTTON .PRESS THAT IF IT CLICKS THEN IT HAD TO BE RESET..ALSO LOOK AT THE LIGHT ON THE DASH THAT BLINKS WHEN THE KEY IS OFF..IF YOU TRY TO START THE CAR AND THAT LIGHT IS BLINKING FAST THEN YOU HAVE A BAD KEY..AND IT WILL NEED TO BE REPROGRAMMED AT THE DEALERSHIP USUALLY..THOUGH SOME LOCKSMITHS CAN PROGRAAM KEYS...

fuel pressure should spray pretty far. at least 2ft+. pump may not be delivering enough pressure. have pump replaced
