Open doots(rear) and move the child lock on both doors then yoy can open from inside you will have to explain what you are talking about pull handle??????????????

It would seem there is nothing else to do other than remove the door panel with the door closed. Removing the seat is likely to be necessary.
Not always possible to remove the door card without damage.
for passenger side:
1. unclip screw cover 'center flap' of inside door opener plastic cover, flap is 3/8"x 3/8" (center of plastic cover)
2. remove phillips screw now showing
3. push fabric panel (edge of door opener plastic cover-at hinged end of chrome handle) to allow uncliping of edge of plastic cover (top rt & lwr rt (for passenger side) of plastic cover)
4. open chrome inside door handle to allow plastic cover to be removed-slide plastic cover toward rear, free end of door to remove cover
5. remove switch panel-gently pry with wide non maring pry bar (cover wide blade screwdriver using cloth) do rear of sw panel 1st (don't pry front edge)
6. slide switch panel toward rear to allow removal
7. remove large phillips screw under sw panel
8. remove the 2 plastic covers near top, hinge edge -use plastic spoon handles to encourage caps to pop off. May also require small screwdriver approx 1/8" in to complete pop off
9. remove the 2 phillips screws w/ captive washers
10. remove 3 phillips/hex screws along the bottom inside of door panel
11. on outside/rear edge of panel push the 2 center pins of each in about 1/8"-this allows the clip to be pulled out w/ pin pushed in
12. remove plastic cover (REAR OF SIDE MIRROR)-pull window edge up and back.
13. lift rear of door panel (not hinge edge) up allow hinge edge to pivot around lower pin in door (hinge edge)
14. remove the 2 rt edge "L" brackets (gently pry center plastic pin out) (note the color and replace as removed)
15. slowly peel the clear plastc away from the non hinged end to expose the plastic panel with 3 phillips head screws
16. remove the 3 screws and panel for access to door handle.
17. using access area now available unlatch the rod attached to exterior door handle (unclip plastic to rotate clip up to allow rod to slide out-toward hinged edge)
18. using access area now available remove rod from ext door handle from inside door area
19. remove the 3 -10mm head bolts
20. remove the ext door handle (bottom edge out first)
reverse order to replace door handle
Hi, to remove the front door panel, remove the plastic surround from the inside door handle. It contains the seat switches and door lock switch. It is held in place by four pressure clips, so you should be able to pull straight out. Remove the wires to the switches. Next remove the window switches by inserting a small, flat screwdriver under the forward end by the window lockout switch. Carefully pry upward. Remove the wires if you want to make removing the panel easier.
The triangular panel on the inside of the rearview mirror will need to be carefully pulled inward but NOT REMOVED. You might be able to do this with just your hand. Remove the white/red marker/courtesy light at the back side of the door panel. A small flat screw driver at the back side should release it. Remove the wire. There are two phillips screws that need to be removed. One is in the opening where the window switch panel was, the other is behind where the red/white light was. After those two are removed, grasp the door pull handle and pull STRAIGHT UP. Don't try to pull inward.
Your inside handle connects to the release mechanism with a rod.It's a steel rod about 3/16" diam. that will be connected to either the handle and not the release,or the release and not the handle.There's also a chance on a car that age that the connector on the handle has broken off because of years of use. Carefully remove the inner door panel,look hard for hidden screws,then there's a plastic liner and sound insulation to remove,then you can get at the mechanics inside the door.The problem will be obvious,and not hard to reconnect if nothing is broken. I just fell into the same situation. My interior driver's door handle just does nothing all of a sudden. I went on the Mazda Forum website and came away with at least a temporary fix.
The lock switch can be used to open the door from the inside by pushing it the opposite way it's pushed when locking the door. In other words, the rear portion of the lock switch needs to be depressed and the front portion needs to be pulled away from the door. It may be difficult to do with the trim piece around the lock still on. The trim piece can be removed by pulling the small plastic cap away from the base (it's on a plastic hinge) off and unscrewing the holding screw underneath it. Pull the handle away from the door and the trim piece will come right off.
I'm using that as a temporary solution now until I get a new/used door assembly.

On the inside trim, you can remove screws that are by the door handle,
arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the
panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want
to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to
get it off the window ledge. Then you'll need to manipulate the panel
and disconnect the door handle linkage from the door handle and
disconnect the wiring for your controls
Remove the power window switch module - use a 1/2" wide flat bladed tool to pry up on the rear edge. Then CAREFULLY push in to disengage the clip and pull up. Disconnect the electrical. Remove the trim panel - there are two screws under the the covers at the ends of the door handle, and one behind the inside opener handle cover. BE VERY CAREFULL not to damage these covers. Gently release the retainer tabs located all around the door panel, and lift up to remove..
