You have a blower motor relay or a blower motor resister that could be bad.The relay is part # 1R2122 $20.79 at rockauto.com. You could jump the relay to see if that's your problem. The Resister is # RU474 $42.89. I would start with the relay. Your switch could also be bad. A simple 12V circuit tester will tell you if you are getting power to the relay terminals.

2009 kia sportage blower motor problems

if the blower motor is not working and the fuse is good then check for power at the motor with the key on and the fan speed switch on. if you have power at the motor and its not running then check the ground side at the motor if this is good then replace the blower motor. you can also try hitting the motor to see if it will start to run but this does not always work. if you have no power at the motor then it is probably the blower motor resistor that is bad.

1999 kia sportage heat and air will not blow

Try finding the blower motor and see if it will work if you hot-wire it. If it doesn't, the blower motor will need replaced. If it does work the switch may be defective.

I have a 2000 sportage i stopped it and now it doesnt start i have no power going to fuse box inside

The fuse box by the battery should be directing power to the fuse box inside, either through a maxi-fuse or a fusible link. Check your maxi-fuses, if all are good look for a blown or melted fusible link. If still no help, consult a wiring diagram.

Where resistor for blower fan(2005 kia sportage)

if fuse/power to fan/resistor all check out, drop the motor and look for
a mess of leaves inside...in my case, there were so many they kept
the motor from operating/OR taking it all apart/testing and finding nothing
wrong but leaves and removing them somehow corrected a bad ground...who knows or cares?...it's now working

Replaced blower motor in my 2001 kia sportage ex, fan only works on high. Any suggestions?

It could be the blower motor resistor, the high position feeds full 12 volt power directly to the blower motor. All lower settings route through the blower motor resistor. It is usually located under the passenger side dash, not far from the blower motor. Two screws secure it to the heater box.

My heater blower for 2005 Kia sportage went how do I wire in new one

Check for power and ground at the motor, with a test light. If you have both power and ground, then you replace the motor. Buy a new one at a parts supplier store.

The blower fuse on my 2005 Kia Amanti has blown after only two weeks. Could a faulty blower replay be the problem

well first check the relay, and make sure power is going to blower motor., if it is then the blower motor may be bad and drawing to much juice and shorting it out enough to blow the fuse or relay. good luck!!

I have a 2000 sportage. The heater fan does not

It may be the blower motor, or it may be the blower resistor. Check for power at the blower motor. If power present with system on and blower has good ground, motor bad. If no power check blower resistor in air box prior to blower motor. If power on input side but nothing coming out to blower change resistor.
