Locating a cabin air filter on a 1994 cadilac deville

In most markets the 1994 Camry did not have a cabin air filter, like mine.

1994 Mercury Capri ac does not have a cabin air filter. Weak air flow and bad smell could be debris in the fresh air/ac inputs. Check under the hood for debris where the air enters, the area under the wiper, and behind the vents inside, they get clogged if you park under a shedding tree...Chris

As far as I can see after some research, your car isn't equipped with one. Checked the Big 3 autoparts suppliers and none of them give a listing for one. I believe CAFs weren't equipped much before 2000.

The stuts you call air bags is just a visual inspection

Push up the dust covers or boots to see any rust or leaking

The compressor you can unplug & jump to 12 volts or
jump at the relay to test it

i JUST BOUGHT A 2004 DEVILLE DTS , AND MY CABIN FILTER IS UNDER THE HOOD ON THE PASSENGER SIDE NEAR THE CABIN , 2 LITTLE TABS THAT I JUST GRAB AND LIFT UP A PLASTIC COVER , AND THE FILTER IS RIGHT THERE LOOKING ME RIGHT IN THE FACE

no such thing. there is a prime location to prime the pump, module,relay,fuse

It'll be located under your hood underneath the plastic shroud at the base of your window. You'll need to remove a couple of the retaining clips in order to lift the shroud up in order to access the filter. All you need to do is pull the old filter out once you have enough room and slide the new on in

in front of the cabin fan.

the problem could be the engine coolant tempature sensor. all1992 through 1994 models equipped with electronic climate control can display trouble codes.replace coolant temp sensor.if problem contines have powertrain control module checked
