You'd want to take it to either a mechanic or a body shop, either would be able to solve the issue.

Chances are, the regulator is broken, and there isn't really a problem w/ the motor.

Yes, the regulator assembly comes with the pieces to repair the hardware inside the door, and may come with new cables, as well as rollers for the window.

If you can remove the weather stripping at the part of the door you normally rest your arm on, and get the glass out of the door (you'll have to anyway), you can inspect for the presence of (and damage to) rollers or guides on the glass itself, which may actually be the problem.

2006 dodge stratus driver side power window and lock

Have you removed the drivers side door panel and checked the wiring harness to see if it is loose or if there is any wires shorting out? If the locks works from the passenger side but not the drivers side you can rule out any fuses or relays. The lock is apparently not getting voltage from the drivers side wiring harness, and in all likelihood you have a loose connector at the controls inside the door panel. Check that first and see if that doesn't solve your problem.

Drivers window switch doesnt work

It's most likely a bad switch. Check it with a voltmeter or continuity tester to see if it needs replaced.

If the motor and regulator both work fine or sound like they are engaging when your try to raise the window, but you hear nothing when you try to lower the window then I think it is a pretty safe bet to say your switch is bad.

Heard loud bang and now the front driver side door window does not roll up. I can hear the motor working, but the window still does not roll up. One week later the exact same thing happened to the front...

Possible that the mechanism has jumped off the linkage . You will need to remove the flap and get access to the window winding mechanism. You will be able to notice the main motor mechanism which has either jumped off - as you heard the sound- or there is a gear that has come off the motor drive.
A resetting of the winder to keep the motor drive coupled to the window winding mechanism should solve. Also make sure that the glass channels are clear and free , not giving friction to the mechanism to jump off.

2002 ford windstar lx front passenger window does not work. Checked fuse 106, not blown, what next?

Turn on interior lamps and watch lamps while working switch, if lamps dim and no noise is heard in door ( like crunching sound) you need to replace window motor, if noise is heard you have a failed window regulator.Lights do not dim you may have a bad switch. You can also try to hit in center of door panel to see if window will start working which also means bad motor. Hope this helps.

Windows controls on driver's side don't always work, leaving windows usually down. Cannot raise passenger side using passenger control either. Buzzing sound heard from driver's control when trying to...

Volvos engineers had the brilliant idea for placing theese switches in the door, without thinking of the poor construction of the roof.
You probably have had them filled with water several times, but the switches wont have this water....
I would have bought some wind-visors available on several car-equipment shops, and a new set of switches for the windows.
The buzzing you hear is most likely electric buzzing on the contacts of the switches.
