My dash lights work on my 94 probe but not the fuel, rpm, temp,or oil but lights up any ideas
Check fuse panel for blown fuses and check trunk wiring for cut wire and check tail bulbs for blown light.
is not fuse or headlight switch, thinking there must be a relay but cant find one for running lights / dash lights
If you tried to install a radio or some other electrical equipment, you may have touched a wire. Try pulling each bulb out and testing them in a different socket or with a bulb tester. Sometimes, the GT has its' own special in-line fuses for both taillights and interior lights. Sometimes
manufacturers can design a taillight control relay to help shoulder the
electrical draw many bulbs can cause on a single circuit or to control the
circuit remotely like a BCM (body control module) for example; when the
alarm is activated the taillights will activate for a couple of seconds to
inform the user the alarm has been activated. When this wiring
system is implemented the headlight/taillight switch is used a the "trigger"
circuit and a taillight relay acts as the actual activation switch. To
perform a test locate the taillight control relay, usually a diagram
is located on the under side relay lid. Most relay control centers are located
under the dash or hood of the car. If you cannot locate the relay a car repair manual can be used. After the relay is located remove the relay from
the relay block or connector. With the key in the "on" position use a test
light to probe all connector terminals. Two of the terminals should have
power, and the remaining two or should be dead. If power is not
present at two of the terminals repair the fuse or power feed circuit as
needed. If power is present, remove the ground lead from the test light and
connect it to a power source for example the positive side of the battery.
Next, probe the remaining two terminals in the relay connector
while turning the headlight/taillight switch from "on" to "off"
and repeat. On one of
the terminals that is tested should blink on and off with the
headlight/taillight switch. If one of the terminals blinks the relay has
probably failed and replacement is required. If no terminals blinks the
control switch (headlight/taillight) has most likely failed or the ground circuit
connected to it.
have not done any electrical work on the car to cause any problems / found a diagram that shows a "TNS" relay but it is not in the fuse / relay box under the hood / all lights work when I jumper a hot lead to the harness / will search some more for the tns relay
"TNS" relay is marked T/SIG Relay in box under hood / Had no power to relay / Opened up box and jumpered from Tail light fuse to relay / Problem solved!
Excellent. Glad that I could assist you in solving your problem.
I am having the same problem I know what relay your talking about but what do you mean by "jumpered"? can i just buy a new t/sig relay? for my dah and tail lights to work?
To check relay you can switch it with the horn relay. They are the same. If after switching them your lights work but not your horn then replace the relay. If that isn't it pull the relay and check for power as described in the post above.

The horn relay and the t/sig relay are the same on my car. If they are the same on your car then switch the two relays. If your lights work now and your horn doesn't then you need a new relay. My relay was ok. I had lost power between the fuse and the relay. Broken wire in the harness. If switching relays doesn't help then pull the t/sig relay and check for power at the relay socket. It has 4 terminals. 2 large and 2 small. You should have 12 volts on 1 large and 1 small terminal. Ignition on or off and light switch on or off, it doesn't matter. If no power then check both sides of the fuse while it is plugged in. Fuses can look good but still be open. If power at the fuse but not at the relay then you have the same problem I had. Repost if you need more info.
