I haven't been able to find schematics free online. Some local libraries carry haynes or chilton repair manuals to look at.You could go to a national auto parts store and "thumb through" one(bring pen and paper). If all those lights are controlled by a column that sticks out from the steering wheel,I would say you probably need to take apart the steering column a little, and maybe try buying a used stick from a salvage yard if one is nearby.Let me know what you find out please. Good luck! Greg

I want to know why my headlights wont turn on? I have a 92 Buick Park Ave

Without testing we'd only be guessing . You need to look at a wiring diagram to see what all is involved in making the head lamps work . Then using a DVOM - digital volt ohm meter to test for B+ voltage in different parts of the headlamp electrical circuit's till the problem is found. Looking at the wiring diagram for the head lamps on your vehicle I see a lot of thing's that could have gone bad , one being the Light control module (electronic's) , Plus the headlamp / park lamp switch , headlamp dimmer switch , twilight sentinel control etc...... Your best bet , take it to a qualified repair shop , unless you know how to diagnose automotive electrical systems . Free wiring diagrams here http://www.bbbind.com/free-tsb Enter vehicle info. Year , make , model an engine . Under system click on lighting , then under subsystem click on headlamp's . Click the search button then the blue link's . Location of signal relay 2002 lincoln ls

That sounds like the multifunction switch is the fault. The flasher on this vehicle is part of the hazzard switch. It recieves power for turn flashing from the turn signal switch. It is very common for the turnsignal (multifunction) switch to become worn and supply partial power to the flasher (hazzard switch) when not on which results in this fast clicking without any lights on. To be certian without taking out any tools whatsoever the next time the clicking happens jiggle the turn signal switch and see if it goes away or changes at all. If it does you need the turn signal switch. I'm going to include replacement instructions for that below because I am confident that is what you will need. Please ask if you have any further questions.

Caution: Unless directed otherwise, the ignition and start switch must be in the OFF or LOCK position, and all electrical loads must be OFF before servicing any electrical component. Disconnect the negative battery cable to prevent an electrical spark should a tool or equipment come in contact with an exposed electrical terminal. Failure to follow these precautions may result in personal injury and/or damage to the vehicle or its components.

Low beams won't work but high beams do.

From looking at a wiring diagram i would say the headlamp dimmer switch is bad . Testing the electrical circuit would be the way to tell for sure ! Not guessing an just replacing parts . Both hi an low beams receive B+ voltage from the same fuse's an HDLP relay . From there B+ voltage goes through the dimmer switch to ground . The daytime running lights are a separate system , different fuse an relay an lights . Do you know how read an use a wiring diagram for testing electrical circuits ? How to use a DVOM - digital volt ohm meter ? http://www.bbbind.com/free_tsb.html Free wiring diagrams ! Enter the vehicle info year , make , model an engine size . My check eng light is on and i have a tdc which reads po551 please help me.

Code po551 is for the steering sensor. It senses steering pressure and bumps up the idle a little to compensate for lower pressure. The switch number is 5269625 and costs approx 35.00. It is threaded into the back of the steering rack and is accessible from underneath the car. Unplug the electrical connector from the switch, clean with electrical cleaner, remove and replace switch, plug in electrical connector. Disconnect the battery for a few minutes to reset the check engine light. Hope this helps.

2002 ford e350 cube van rigth tail light works but not the left tail light and no marker lights and now back up lights come on when i turn head lights on im thinking it some how much be the head light...

im thinking it some how much be the head light switch shorted ????? Thinking doesn't fix electrical problems ! Learning how too does. Viewing electrical diagrams , testing the electrical circuit's with a DVOM - digital volt ohm meter , reading in a factory service repair manual how the affected circuit is suppose to work an using factory pin point testing procedures . That is what fixes electrical problems . Bet you replace the switch an it doesn't fix it . Without testing i could only guess as to what the problem could be . But an educated guess i would think a ground problem .I bet if you looked at a wiring diagram all these have same ground point near the back of the vehicle . Electrical voltage is back feeding through the circuit trying to find a good ground . But without out getting out the DVOM an testing this is just a guess. Looking at the wiring diagram all thing's your having problems with ground at the same place . G-400
