What the brake bleeding sequence for my 95 prizm? How do I know if the brake lines need to be repaired?

all basics....
longest to shortest order. just look at lines you can see where they go in 5min.
rusted or leaking or crushed lines are bad. super basics.
damaged, no , only the bleed valves were touched and yes they do break, and for sure in salt belt. (wiki that)
its needs bleeding,
if the MC and slaves (all parts) dont leak there is air in the system.
if all air is out (i use pressure bleeding) but if all out, then the MC is bad.
spongy is always air , bleed again, repeat.
get a book on brakes, see how to do bleeding 6 ways.
some ways are better, or like me I use 3 ways.
keep in mind , air wants to float up, and tell me which way are you using... 2man way? opposite of the float rule?
sure. its classic way and can be very hard.

My front brake is leaking the brake fluid and i whant to fix it my self

first where is it leaking from is it the banjo bolt that connects the hydraulic fulid line to the caliper or is it the bleeder bolt check those to see if lose.. or is it leaking from around the brake pads if so the seals around the piston or pistons depending on the caliper. if so new caliper or find a junkyard. you will have to bleed the brake line of air after swaping caliper i highly suggest getting a power bleeder for removing air out of the lines keep in mind that you have to keep the resavor full of brake fulid awhile power bleeding...!

All of a sudden i have spongy brakes on my 92 f 250. changed master cyl and booster. and rubber brake hoses. still spongy and nothing is leaking.brakes went from being good to spongy in one...

Check the rear wheel cylinders? Was anything leaking at the master cylinder? Does it have ABS?
Check the front caliper slides are free. Check the front caliper pistons for leaks as well. This is all assuming you bled the brakes(all 4 wheels) properly after all that replacement! You're getting air from somewhere for sure or if it has ABS, the pump may have a problem.

I am having a problem bleading my 2000 grand pris brakes. check all the brake line no leaks but when i bleed the brabe pedal coes to the floor. i have also bleeb frunt to rear and rear to frunt.

This is a two person job. You have one push the brake pedal to the floor and hold it there. Then the other opens the bleed valve until brake fluid comes out. Close the bleed valve and have the other person release the brake pedal. Repeat. Continue doing this on each brake bleed valve until there is no more air coming out of the lines at each bleed valve just a solid stream of fluid. Fill master reservoir back up with brake fluid as needed through the process. You bleed from farthest to closest meaning from rear to front.

Brake Fluid leaking from right rear wheel. 2006 CTS

the bleeder valve is the end of the line for break fluid.....you only open the valve when you're bleeding air from the break lines...after that it needs to be shut closed....fluid is leaking out of the bleeder valve because either the valve is not seated correctly or it got grinded down to a point where there is now an opening in it where it does not hold back the fluid....solution is to change the valve...they're only a couple dollars and you can do it your self....it just unscrews off and the new one screws back on...but be ready for a lot of fluid coming out when your replacing it and have new fluid on hand to replace what you lose.
And you'll have to bleed the system again

good luck

Brakes

Step1
If you had a brake job you might have air in the system that needs bleed out.
Crack open the bleeder on the caliper and watch the brake fuild come out steadly and close it and don't pump the pedal. Do this to each side this is called bench bleeding and watch the brake fulid level while you are doing this add fuild as you bleed each side.

Step2
Also sounds like a leaking line check under the car for a leaking brake line. Next would be a master cylinder problem. But more than likely a brake line might be rusted up and leaking, sooner or later you will not be able to stop. If its a leaking line it will leak all the fuild out of the master cylinder. You can replace the line and use the bleeding procedure in step one.

04 Focus SVT- All brakes will bleed out except the right rear..??

Have somone help you as you bleed the brakes. Have them pump the pedal 3 times and hold the pedal down with constant pressure while you crack the bleed valve open to the problem caliper. Don't let them release the pedal until you have closed the bleeder valve. Continue this process until you have fluid coming out without air. Periodacillay check the master cylinder to be sure it remains full enough so as not to allow more air in because the resivouir ran to low during the bleeding process. If when you are done and the brake light continues to be on then you will need to bleed the proportioning valve until the system balances out on line pressure.
If this works can you please give me a rating??? Thank you.
