Check engine light code P0449. check engine light ison,autozone says code is P0449 this is whattheir ticket says: The PCM has determined that a malfunction exists in the electrical circuit for the vent valve/solenoid in the evaporative emission control system.

The coolant sensor temperature is usually found just beneath the cylinder head, on the engine block.

You just disconnect the 1-2 wires and then undo it with a wrench.
The sensor will look like one of these:

Just be aware .. you may have TWO such sensors on your vehicle.

One sensor (usually with 3-4 electrical pins) is near the thermostat and works in conjunction with other sensors to regulate fuel/air according to engine temperature.

The other type of sensor is in the block near the cylinder head. It sends a signal to the temperature gauge on your dashboard ONLY. If your temp gauge constantly reads too hot or too cold .. this one is the culprit.
If it's a running fault .. speed .. rough running .. fuel. It may look like this:

Call the parts depts at your local chevy dealers. With a 12 year old car a nice parts guy will usually give you the code for free. Look up how to pull the radio code up on the internet (you have to hold down certain buttons on different theft-loc radios). Give the numbers to the parts guy and they will call in and get you the unlock code. Otherwise they charge you to get the number...good luck

You have a bad alternator. low voltage can make lots of things act weird on the car.

Hi there .... the best thing to do right now is to take it somewhere like autozone and get the car scanned for codes. Once you have the codes you can post them here and we can help you with it. Without codes it is a little difficult to diagnose.

disconnect pcm and try a fuses if it blow again its our pcm when there to many different code always clear it and drive it and scan it again hope its a fixya thanks pierre
