For 1998 Ford Truck Expedition 4WD 5.4L EFI 8cyl the Oxygen Sensor is located under vehicle, driver side, below seating area, mounted in exhaust pipe in rear of catalytic converter.

Application: Number three

there is actually 4 o2 sensors all located in the exhaust, one on each manifold or just after the manifold and then there is one before the catalytic converter and one after it

You will be told that it is passenger side 02 sensor before the cat,, but it is not .. Drivers side right after the manifold is the one you are after.

the o2 sensors are loacated on exhaust pipes, they are screwed in, theres one on each side before the converter and one on eachside after the converter.

yes. you can access on the backside of exhaust manifold. go to harbor freight and buy and oxysensor socket. be sure to unplug o-2 sensor before you unscrew. easy job.

Misfiring


An O2 sensor will not cause a miss, period. I would think the problem may lie with the #3 coil, or the wiring to it. What are the trouble code(s), give me those and I can be more helpful

Oxygen Sensor Location 2001 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer


There are four o2 sensors on this truck. one on each side just below the exhaust manifold, and one on each side behind the second catalytic converters. (just about even with the back of the front doors.
