Hi, water temp= 28 deg, male /female ,the fin nearest tail on belly if it has spots its a male and no spots female. The cobalt blue sorry don't no that one.

inspect the female end for any dirt or something inside of it , once you complete that get some WD40 or any other kind of lubricate and spray it directly into the slot of the female end then try the male end this should correct your problem.

AC delco has a pigtail book that shows all the connectors or go to Napa Auto parts in the Belden catalog get a weather tight connector kit the number of wires that you have they make them up to 7 cavities If need more use to set ups

you must see the plug or connector color + female or male and connect with the respective male or female plug or connector color. You must disconnect the positive terminal of battery for to do this.

a SMALL blade screwdriver (1/8" or smaller), "gently" inserted between the male and female jacket of the plug connector, where the catch protruding from the male connector through the female jacket. Gently rock the connector back and forth working the catch, (from the male connector) out of the slots, (of the female connector) of the female jacket, on both sides.It can be a little tricky the first couple times you try this, but you will get it... This one is simple! It is just as simple as it is to steal one too! Step 1 locate on both sides of truck bed for two round knob looking things,kinda has a flat spot in middle,male ended. Second step, On tailgate bottom corners there's a flat female slot. insert female slot over male flat rounded knob and flip tailgate to close then carefully open tailgate again and attach the safety cables on both sides.Wa La it's installed!

LOOK INSIDE THE FEMALE RECIVER AND MAKE SURE THERE IS NOTHING IN THERE. EVEN SOMETHING SMALL CAN MAKE IT SO THE RECIEVER WONT CLICK INTO PLACE
