I Have a 1993 GMC sonoma,when I give it gas,and try to take off in 1st gear,it's like it wants to stall.I've did the full tune up on it ,even the fuel filter,and still can't figure out what the problem is.Can you please help,Thanks

Look on the radiator schroud where the hood latch is and look to right.of latch.

SOURCE: losing vacuum

Check your power brake booster. The rubber diaphragm in the booster can dry rot and crack after about 10-12 years. Disconnect the vacuum line from the brake booster and plug it to see if the vacuum increases on your gauge. If it does increase, replace the booster (usually $30-80 depending on model and brand).

1992 GMC Sonoma has no heat, replaced thermostat and water pump
make sure all air is bleed from the system then check the heater hoses by touching them they should feel the same temperature if not then the heater core is plugged and needs replacing.

Losing vacuum on 1992 GMC Sonoma replaced all hoses - trans switch - actuator
Here this is an old technic but a goody, run the engine and get a squirter bottle with soapy water and spray around the base of the carby, manifold, air connections etc, if you hear the whisteling stop or the engine change in its running while doing this, then you can narrow your find., {a can of wd40 works as well}, remember we are here to help as best we can, good luck
