I liked to reset my 2008 c 350 display manually,,,anyone have any suggestions,,;the manual says to go to a tech. thanks

I take help from online websites that have this service like helping in repair some like reliable- store have instant help.. others are a bit slow which I don't prefer... rest is up to u.. U can also get free manuals

With my 2007 XL-7, it would reset like the manual said until 30,000 miles. Today I took it to a repair shop to have the oil changed. They wrote the following instructions that reset mine today. 1. Press information button until 'oil life' is displayed. 2. Tap check mark two times and hold it on the third tap. Good luck!!

sounds like you may have accidentiily changed the coding on the alarm check your manual or call the dealer to find the reset instructions ( they may also be in your manual)

Contact the Mitsubishi dealer's parts department. Have the VIN ready. It's on the dash, drivers side, look through the windshield or on the drivers door jamb or the registration. It's 17 digits long, the os are zeros and use words instead of letters when reciting it, like Tango for T, Charley for C, so he/she can understand you.

Hi this is caused by you timing belt being to tight or off a tooth. The tech is trying to get out of pulling it back apart. Go back there and be stern with them it is there fault. Reseting your computers will do nothing on you car due to it not having computer with adaptive learning system. Tell him that and see what he says. I cant stand techs that lie.

Hi Cornate . It sounds like your rear main oil seal has gone . Not a cheap job . Judge how serious it is by topping up your oil level to the correct level and reset your trip counter . Check your oil level weekly and top up and work out how much oil is being used/lost (Per litre / miles) . Regards VW Audi tech

If you don't have a users manual, you can download it and go to page 177, it explains it there.

According to manual, turn ignition to the on position, within 5 seconds fully depress gas pedal 2 times.  Then turn ignition off. If it does not reset, repeat process.
