if its temporary no if its gonna be on for awhile maybe stay with same size tires on same axle. if there offset can strip gearing in rear end or cause front end to go bad for alignment. you can put any size on there just might effect the accuracy of speedo. hope this helps
The difference between 205-60-15 and 205-70-15 tires is that the sidewall is a little thicker on the 205-70-15's, in which makes what msapp12 said accurate. For your car you can fit 195-65-15, 205-60-15, and 215-60-15 tires. Stock tire size for that car is 195-65-15, but the only difference between the three of the sizes I mentioned is the width of the tire. Something to check after getting new tires is your alignment. Make sure that it is straight, as well as make sure that none of your wheels are bent when you have the new tires installed. If either of those are present, it will cause bad uneven wear on your tires causing you to buy new tires more frequently. Plus as a routine maintenance, have your tires rotated and rebalanced every 4,000 to 6,000 miles that way they wear evenly. If you are fortunate to have a Discount Tire, or America's Tire located near you, I would highly recommend paying them a visit and explaining to them your problem, and they will be able to assist you. Hope this helps as well!
find some junkyards in the phone book and call them until you find a replacement rim. they are about 20 bucks used and most likely about any GM rim from the 90s will fit it. have your old tire put on your new used rim, balanced, and you are good to go unless the tire itself has been damaged.take a look at the tire size so you know what size rim you have, most likely a 13,14, or 15 inch size.
There were a few different sizes originally available on that vehicle depending on options. If it is 2wd it could have come from the factory with a 205-75-15 or a 235-70-15 tire. If it's 4wd it could have come with a 235-70-15 or 235-75-15 tire. There should be a tire placard on the door jam of the drivers door stating original equipment tire sizes and recommended inflation pressures.
both tires will fit on the 15 inch rim But be advised make sure you have same size tires on the drive wheels being as your car is front wheel drive u want both the front tires to be the same size if this is not done u will burn up your transmission if you have to put a odd ball tire on put it on the rear
exact opposite is true for rear wheel drive car on a rear wheel drive car u want both rear tires to be the same size

the stock rims should be 16" making the tire size 205/55/16. let me know if you have a different rim size. you can look at the tire size on the tire sidewall and the last number is going to be your rim size. if it's a 15' rim the tires are 195/65/15 and finally for 14" rims the tire size is 195/70/14. hope this helps.
You should have the same size tires in the front and back. By having 2
different sizes, you are changing the gear ratios between the front
diff. and rear diff. You could wipe out the t-case especially if it is
full time 4wd.
