Hi, the most recent manual I have for that body style is a '98 Concorde. It has a 12-step procedure in either direction: drain cooling system, protecting the drive belts from getting any coolant on them. The next step is to remove the upper radiator crossmember. After removing the radiator cooling system hose connections, the trans cooler hose connections and plugging those, the oil cooler connections (if equipped), and fan wiring connector, remove the fan module (four fasteners on the corners, two clips at the middle top and bottom). Use care to avoid bending the condenser inlet tube. Remove the condenser attaching screws (one on either side) from the front of the radiator. Remove fasteners for bracket that connects the transmission cooler line to the left side of the radiator. Lift A/C condenser up only enough to clear the upper mounting clips, and allow condenser to rest on lower radiator crossmember. It is not necessary to discharge the A/C system. Radiator can now be lifted free from the engine compartment. Install is the reverse: slide radiator down onto the cross member making sure that rubber supports fit in holes. Attach A/C condenser with 2 fasteners (45 inch pounds of torque). Connect lower radiator hose and clamp. Connect trans cooler line bracket and trans cooler hose lines (22 inch pounds). Install fan module. Connect electrical to fan. Connect engine oil cooler (if equipped). Install upper radiator hose. Align hose to not interfere with drive belts or engine. Install upper radiator support crossmember. Fill system with coolant. I hope that this '98 description is applicable to your 2000 model year.
Take care

SOURCE: How do I remove the radiator from a 2000 Chrysler

Thats a lot of work to take it out if you dont need to. You will need to get a Radiator Pressure Tester or pay a repair shop to do it for you. When under pressure you will need a good flashlight and a mirror to pinpoint the leak. You can always get it warm, that will increase the pressure somewhat and then look for the leak. Radiators ususally leak at the ends where the tanks attach to the core or the tank can crack.

If I remember correctly... On the drivers side, about midway, above the tie rod.
It's a tight squeeze to remove. recommend the type of filter grip that goes on the end of the filter.
The band type is tedious due to limited room to grip and turn.

How to replace radiator in 2008 Chrysler 300 3.5

Radiators are pretty simple to replace. First drain the radiator of antifreeze by finding the drain plug on the bottom of the radiator. Once you are done draining the fluid, remove the hoses and unbolt the two top brackets. Move the radiator out and see if the condenser is bolted to its sides, if so unbolt it.

You are now ready to remove the radiator. Just remember the feet on the bottom of the radiator sit in two holes and can easily be broken if you aren't careful with it.
good luck

Replace raditor 2001 chrysler 300 M

1. Remove or disconnect the following:
  • Disconnect negative battery cable.
  • Drain cooling system.
  • Upper radiator hose .
  • Upper radiator closure panels.
  • Radiator fan assembly .
  • Radiator fan electrical connector.
2. Raise the vehicle

3. Remove or disconnect the following:
  • Lower splash shield.
  • Lower radiator hose.
  • Lower condenser mount bolts
4. Lower vehicle.
5.Remove or disconnect the following:
  • Upper radiator mounting brackets and bolts.
  • Upper condenser mounting bolts.
6. Separate condenser assembly from radiator.
7. Tilt radiator toward engine and remove radiator from vehicle.

Clean radiator fins are necessary for good heat transfer. The radiator and air conditioning fins should be cleaned when an accumulation of debris has occurred. With the engine cold, apply cold water and compressed air to the back (engine side) of the radiator to flush the radiator and/or A/C condenser of debris. The installation of the new radiator is the opposite of the removal. Please upvote if this was helpful. :)

How do you replace the raidator in my 2000 chrysler 300 m auto matic tranny

To get to the radiator you have to remove the upper radiator support. There should be around 4 bolts on the top of it. Undo these bolts and anything holding it on. Remove the bolts holding the headlights in. To make it easier on you remove the upper radiator support out of the way (I placed min eup further on the motor so i did not have to disconnect the hood cable. Now you will have to remove the radiator fan. Disconnect all electrical connections and there should be a bolt in and around each corner of the fan assembly. Lift fan up and out of car. Now that you have more room to work you should drain the radiator and take off all connections to the unit it self. The hoses are easy, to me removing the radiator cooling lines is what was the pain (but i did mine outside in the middle of winter). Take your time with this, don't kink or brake any lines (if you have to replace a oil cooler line or anything, now is the time to do it!!!) After the radiator is free of all lines and hoses lift it straight up and out.
Now for installation just take your time have some patients and reverse order.

This is not hard to do, it does look very intimidating but it is really not that bad to do! Have some patients, take your time and you will get it done.

Good luck!!!!!

Where is the coolant bleeder valve on 2000 Chrysler 300 m

On the engine next to the thermostat housing on most cars. It is a regular flathead screwdriver type screw. if you can't find it. Then slowly , without removing it, turn the radiator cap at operating temperatue. Until you hear it hiss and only coolant will come out. Do this very slowly andd carefully. The water is hot. Be careful.
