There is no need to disconnect the brake hose, just make sure the truck is safely supported off the ground remove tires, find a good pry bar that will fit in the top slot of the calibers, put the pry bar in between the back pad and the rotor before unbolting the caliber, than pry the pack back towards the caliber till completely flush with the caliber, remove bolts and caliber bracket, change pads and rotor if desired, than install back on truck, repeat steps for other side as well unless the truck has a four wheel abs system than you can do both sides at the same time.

Ford Pick-ups and Broncos 1987-1996 Repair Guide
Brake Caliper - REMOVAL & INSTALLATION

  1. Raise and support the front end on jackstands.
  2. Remove the wheels.
  3. Remove the caliper and the brake pads as outlined under Disc Brake Pad Removal and Installation.
  4. Disconnect the brake hose from the caliper.
To install:
  1. Connect the brake hose to the caliper. When connecting the brake fluid hose to the caliper, it is recommended that a new copper washer be used at the connection of the brake hose and caliper.
  2. Install the brake caliper and pads onto the vehicle as outlined in this section.
  3. Install the wheels and lower the vehicle. Bleed the brake system.

Hope helps.

Rear brake grab 95 f 250 4x4.. new brakes wheel cylinders drums booster and master cylinder still locks up at low speeds any ideas???

change the hardware , and also flush the system and put in all new brake fluid, , if you've replaced all of what you describe, thats your best bet, also,, at times emergency brake cables, look like they release but they actually don't,, be sure that this isn't causing you headaches !! Fords and jeeps are known for having a single brake that will stick or not release right away , normally a rear brake, a fluid change often helps

95 ford f250 powerstroke brake pedal will go down by itself and or stick once its pressed changed and bench bled master cylinder twice changed power booster (maybe got a bad booster?) or could the vacuum...

You must inspect ALL Brake lines, flexible and steel, and each corner brake. Look for fluid leaks. If everything below is okay, replace the M/C. I suspect damaged cup or bore. do not rebuild, get a new one. Unlikely too much vacuum.

Replace front brake disc on 1997 ford f250 4x4

remove tire, loosen and remove caliper 2 bolts on rear side of caliper, usually a allen/torque wrench or a standard wrench if u got all 3 ur good, fully remove caliper disc slides right off studs, new caliper will be thicker, which requires the piston behind the pad to be moved in, u can use a large c lamp be very careful while tightening down on piston not to brake it usually lay something across the piston put the clamp on that piston must go in far enough to allow pad to slide over new disc good luck its easy and pretty self explanitory
