Everything is supposed to go off in the start position. You would have power to the engine computer and other components to start.
If the engine is not locked up, it could be the starter or a bad connection with one of the battery cables.
Check the cable ends,make sure they are clean ,and shiny,then look for a fusible link that could be burned into,the links are on the same side of the starter solenoid that the battery cable connects to.
These cars are known for the sound system amplifiers going out. That is what produces the sound. Check for blown fuses and if they are all ok you may need a new amplifier
look for the fuse or try to unplug ur battery and let if set for a couple of mins and plug back in but like for radieo u will lose ur channels u will have to set them again
