2000 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LT V8 (smaller V8) 4WD Tow Package. Truck won't start, LED message board works, radio works, lights work, can turn key to 1st position and everything lights up but when turning 1 more turn to start, everything shuts down. Just towed a popup camper home, disconnected it, went to pull truck away and truck wouldn't start.

i got a 2001 silverado 1500 and it wont start it turns over and fires and .... Put the key in and the truck barely starts due to the battery being weak. .... Got Spark
Got injector pulse
Fuses checked
Battery any good-tested it?

this is the starter relay your battery is most likley very low or the starter is bad

is your 4wd a floor shift or a pushbutton style? as for the tow/haul button, it locks out overdrive and changes the shift stategy to protect your trans.

Turn key to the run position, not start, and depress on gas pedal three times. Turn key off. This should reset the message.

check to see if it has a tow package. look under the rear bumper area for a t-plug. take out the t and plug direct. those can loose contact.

change the fluid and filter if u havent already if that dont fix problem have trans. checked out u didnt say how many miles are on the vehicle?

I have a 2002 chevy trailblazer LT 4.2 l w/ approx 85000 miles on it and I left key in car after rolling down windows for about 2 hours drainging battery. After charging battery and running car for a little bit the service 4 wheel drive light came on. I have had no problems with the truck and I am wondering if it is because the battery was drained and the computer needs to be reset or something?

the radio has a bulit in computer it also controls warning light ,door chimes and keys left in ign. and more. I changed radios and inatalled a new interface so all my chimes work correctly. no more problems.
