Hello, please Volvo V 70 - 1999, 2,5 litre engine, where the oil filter is located on engine ??

its next to filter. the sender fits to the main oil gallery
like the filter too.
why not just look at the dealer parts page, find it and see.
the fsm covers this too.

it is located on the bottom side of the engine, front right corner. its the black plastic filter housing

Engine oil must meet the minimum ILSAC specification GF-2, including ACEA A1, API SJ, SJ/CF and SJ/Energy Conserving.
Your Volvo has been certified to standards using ILSAC oil specification GF-2 5W-30. Volvo recommends use of oil with a quality rating equal to or higher than ILSAC GF-2. Equivalent and better oils include ACEA A1, API SJ, SJ/CF, and SJ/Energy conserving. Lower quality oils may not offer the same fuel economy, engine performance, or engine protection.
Volvo Cars recommends Castrol. Depending on your driving habits, premium or synthetic oils may provide superior fuel economy and engine protection. Consult your Volvo retailer for recommendations on premium or synthetic oils. Oil additives must not be used. If you are not very mechanical i would recommend you take your car to a garage and ask them to change your transmission oil and filter, the sooner the better.
or get the filter and the grade of oil you need, drain the transmission fluid, either by undoing the transmission sump bolt located under the car engine, located on opposing side to the oil sump, or removing the sump(replace filter). replace and reseal the sump/bolt. refill car from through the transmission dipstick, located near the engine under the bonnet.

Volvo recommends 4 quarts of 10w-30 oil, including the filter change.

warm up engine raise vehicle to get under it,locate oil pan on bottom of engine,undo drain plug and drain oil into container,let it drian until nearly nothing comes out,if youre changing the oil filter it is unserewed by holding it and twisitng anti clockwise,fit new filter and fill engine with oil,approx 4.5 litres

3.3 L with Oil filter; 3.0 L w/o Oil filter :)

the oil filter is on the back passanger side just below the turbo the pipes from the oil cooler run into the filter housing
