A noise coming from my 04 Ford expedition that sounds like a bad tire would sound. But I don't have any bad tire

Noise from front?... gets louder with increase in speed?... likely a bad front wheel hub.

If you steer (safely), at speed, left or right and noise diminishes, the bad hub is toward the direction you steer.

2005 Ford Freestyle, 113m miles, roaring sound from the front as I increase speed. Service man says I need Control Shafts and Right axle shaft. Sounds more like a bearing to me. What say?????

Bearings will usually quit if you turn the wheel one way or the other. Jack the car up and shake the wheel. If there is play in it then it's bearings.

What could be causing a vibrating noise when going slow speeds but decreases when in faster speeds

Hi Chris, I'm glad to help! Vibrating / Roaring sounds can be anything from rear or front diff problems. Drive Line U-Joint problem. Wheel bearing bad. Even transmission problem. You have to pin-point where the vibration is, is it in the front, in the rear, on the right or on the left. Is it in the center of the vehicle and so on. Hope this helps and have an awesome day Chris!

Roaring sound front left wheel, maybe a wheel bearing?

It could be the the wheel bearing...again, as you said. I also would like to know if you had the front end aligned when you changed the wheel bearing. If the tires have excessive wear on the outside or inside tread, you are out of alignment and BOTH wheel bearings need to be changed! It could also be the brakes wearing thin...check it out!

Either my cv joint or wheel bearing on the driver side is going out, how do I determine which it is and how to change the problem

In most cases if the CV joint is bad you will hear a clicking sound when turning the wheel & moving. If it's a wheel bearing you will hear like a roaring sound that will increase as your speed increases. Hope this helps....

Gas guage does not work

This issue is probably caused by a faulty fuel sending unit or a bad connection by the gas tank. If possible try wiggling the fuel pump harness by the tank and see if gauge may start working. The particular harness I am referencing will contain a purple wire which is power wire to the fuel pump. This plug and harness also contains the wires that connect to the fuel gauge. This harness is located by the right rear tire by the gas tank.

2005 cevy Impala, roaring sound from front increase with turn rit

Sounds like a front wheel bearing has failed. Likely the left one as when you turn left it takes some of the weight off of the left wheel.

Right rear is making a sound of medal scraping medal. I believe it maybe the wheel bearings.

If it's a scraping sound, when does it happen? If it's when you hit the brakes, then it's likely your rear brake pads/shoes are down to the metal and are scraping. This can happen when you're not hitting the brakes, however. Bad wheel bearings are usually a moaning/roaring sound that increases as road speed increases. Ditto that for differential bearings - if they go out, you usually get a roaring noise that increases the faster you go.
