basically everything can didnt specify type of vehicle so well go thru list first tires out of balance or under inflated and or oversized for vehicle ---hub /wheel bearing going bad ---upper or lower ball joint bad or damaged ----upper or lower control arm bushings---shocks/struts bad ---tie rods not properly installed ---idler arm bad or damaged --steering box/steering rack bad or damaged
the wheel bearings are going out if thay are now starting to heat up you need to replace them. but you can first jack up the front end ( both sides off ground together) get a long( 8' or better) 2 x 4 and place under wheel on ground andput presure on tire up wad and the tie sould move in a good bearing but if tire moves aound like its lose then it needs replaced
You need to jack up the car and check that wheel right away. You may have a bad bearing and/or spindle. A front end problem like this is very dangerous so please check or have checked asap. The car should not be driven till this problem is repaired. The axle joint may be causing the clicking or the bearing. But if it looks as if the wheel could fall off don't drive it to a repair shop if you are not repairing have it towed.
SOUNDS LIKE YOU HAVE FRONT HUB/BEARING GETTING BAD..JACK UP FRONT OF VEHICLE,SUPPORT SAFELY..CHECK FOR ANY PLAY IN WHEEL BEARINGS..THEN TURN EACH FRONT WHEEL WHILE YOU HAVE 1 HAND ON COIL SPRING..YOU SHOULD FEEL ROUGHNESS IN COIL SPRING ON SIDE WITH BAD BEARING..THESE BEARINGS CAN BE HARD TO REPLACE..USUALLY SEIZED INTO STEERING KNUCKLE..I HOPE THIS HELPS
You also could have received a bad axle. Sometimes the rebuilds don't hold good tolerance and can make the same noise you are trying to get rid of. Is it full-time 4wd? Maybe the driveshaft ujoint also.
