YOUR TIMING BELT FOR THE 3.2 ENGINE NEED TO BE CHANGED AT 90000 MILES. THE 3.5RL IS 105000 MILES
The 3.2 L. is an interference motor witch means if the belt breaks under operating conditions ,It is very likely there WILL be valve damage ! In shorts,The crankshaft has more duration than the valve train ,So when the belt fails the valves stop moving while the crank is still in motion with a piston making contact with any open valves. When this happens it bends the valve so that it can not seat or seal to hold compression in the cylinder or cylinders affected
Do it now along with a new water pump too
The service interval is 105,000 miles. At that time you should also plan on replacing the water pump and timing belt rollers if they show any sign of wear. It's also a good time to carefully inspect the cam and crank seals, if they're leaking, it's a good time to do them as well.
