Press and hold any button on your remote within 20 seconds of the eighth turn. Hold the button for as long as 20 seconds until the locks automatically click and then release. Remove your key from the ignition to end the resetting process.

2. if lost said guide, it is free from Lincoln or google it free.
3. the car came new with 3 working keys, lost all? ask wife?
4. all you can do with all keys lost (both) is call a locksmith that can do cars, and ask. 3rd key is valet

Sure , but key would need to be programmed into the PATS system . Anti - theft . Which means a tow to the dealer or have a mobile lock smith come to your house an program it .

it does have a chip, most bypass units require you to have atleast one key that is programmed. You need 2 keys and they have to be programmed.

replace batts in key bob and cycle key 5 times lock and unlock with key bob use both remotes

You have to contact the dealer that you bought the car from or go to a lincoln dealer with the vin number and proof that you own the vehicle ( title, Registration, etc.) and they'll have to burn you a new key.

I had a Lincoln LS that had similar problem. It had a bad coil pack. You need a diagnostic computer to tell which one it is. Dealer fixed mine for around $150 with part included.

im wondering if u replaced the rite part-good to git 2 or 3 opinions before pursueing wat does your temp gauge say-is it in da red-wen vehicles experience this itz like being exhausted. see if u hav problem with the coolin system-do a thuro checup would also chec ignition -partz get old there too

try tapping the end of the key gently with a small hammer while trying to turn it this happens alot on Ford Escape and Focus
