The Radiator comes out from the bottom. You do not need to touch the AC at all. The job is a bit of a PITA. I have done it twice. You can leave the fan and shroud in or take in out. I have done it both ways. Out is easier. You may need new trans cooler connectors and or o-rings as well. There are many tutorials online. I would check 'you tube' and Mathew's Volvo for more details, you will need to. I know this thread is old but it may help someone else.

Both radiator hoses are hard why 98 s70 volvo turbo

It has been my experience that both radiator hoses get hard with age, check the hoses for age and cracking because they usually are hard right before they give out. They get hard when they get old due to excessive oil covering because of an oil leak and heat from the engine and the coolant within the hose.

Show how to replace a throttle position sensor in a 1999 volvo S70 five speed non turbo 2.4 dohc

Throttle position sensor is part of the throttle body assembly. It is not sold as a separate part. You need to replace the throttle assembly. Remove the intake tube, remove the 4 bolts and disconnect the electrical plug. It will need to be programmed by someone withe the Volvo Vida software.

How much does it cost to replace my volvo s70 1999 lifters?

Well my Volvo s70 radiator was leaking, especially on cold days. They replaced the entire radiator. Than bulb burned out, clock misbehaving - had alternator and battery checked - turned out OK, I was told noise was caused by valve lifters. The whole repair took $734 that I took through same day payday loans. The problem disappeared after they changed oil and used an additive. Alternator bearing is now starting to make a noise. Both shop and I finally agreed we should wait until it gets much worse before spending the big money to fix it.

I noticed my temperature gauge low for longer periods of time in the cold. I just had my radiator replaced about 4 months ago. The coolant level is good and so far no leaks. 1999 Volvo S70.

That's not a problem as far as its not overheating. and if the radiator is bad or there was a leak then the car will be high not low. and i think your your Thermostat is open all the time that's maybe why the car is always Low on Temperature.

Replace Heater Core for Volvo S70 (1999)

It is your heater core. I fixed mine for $144. Ordered the new part on Ebay and followed these instructions http://www.volvospeed.com/vs_forum/index.php?showtopic=9717 It was very simple, I'm a middle age grandmother! The hardest part was cleaning up all the antifreeze. You will need a shopvac, a small one is $20 at WalMart.
