When an vehicle's air conditioning system has not been used for several months, the seals within the system start getting dry. I've never worked on a Peugeot 206 or any other peugeot before, that's why I had no idea where the low pressure ac port was. The high pressure ac port is the easiest to locate, because it is in the engine compartment, facing the car from the front, on left side of the radiator. The low pressure ac port is in the engine compartment, facing the car from the front, to the back in the center, under the windshield. The low pressure ac port and the high pressure ac port both have black dust caps. The low pressure ac port is the smaller of the two.
Look back on the firewall for the two a/c lines. One is large and on is much smaller. The larger line is the low pressure line. Follow that line back to the compressor. The low pressure port will be on that line.
the hose fitting that you attach to the low side port will only fit that port-it cannot fit the high side (that port is too big) so you cannot do this wrong. The low (suction) side is between the compressor and the evaporator (passenger compartment, usually in the heater core plenium.)
They can hide these pretty good, you may not like this ,but here goes.Find the ac compressor ,and follow the large ac line/hose that comes off of the ac compressor. It will take you to the low side service port.It will be the small port. Most of the time it is located on the dryer,or near it,but not always, but it will be on the large line of the ac system. If I can help ,let me know.>>[email protected]
look near the radiator follow the line from the reciever dryer till you find it, on some they put the low side on the compresor line near the compressor, and some way low by the radiator.
There are two aluminum tubes coming out of the compressor. The high pressure tube goes to the condensor in front of the radiator. The low pressure tube is the other tube, and the port has a black plastic cap over it, on the low pressure tube.
In order to charge, you must locate the low pressure valve to install the refrigerant. The low pressure valve is between the compressor and the evaporator. Do not charge on the High Pressure side, The high pressure valve is between the compressor and the condenser. To locate the low pressure valve, follow the line that comes from the compressor and routes toward the firewall. The valve will be somewhere on that line. Do not overcharge. The amount of pressure that is needed on the low pressure side will depend on the ambient outside temperature.
hello, good day,you have a 210 model with v 8 engine, your high pressure connection is located at front of your condenser, beside your ax.fan, then your low pressure connection is located at engine walling near your vacuum hose for brake booster, right side ,standing in front,ty
