The crankshaft sensor sit between the a/c compr and the crankshaft pulley, sensor bolts to the side of timing chain cover, only 1 bolt holds it in place, only one, disconnect sensor harness, remove 10 or 8 mm bolt, sensor will slide right out. Hope this was very helpful.

There are a few causes that can trip that code.

- Crankshaft position sensor harness is open or shorted
- Crankshaft position sensor circuit poor electrical connection
- Faulty crankshaft position sensor
- Signal plate may be damage
- Starter motor may be faulty
- Starting system circuit
- Dead or weak battery

I have an 03 lincoln aviator and the heater stop working what can I check to see if something is wrong

heater core usally they will go out. they are usually behind the dash and a mechanic will charge u an arm and a leg go to Autozone and get the manual for ur vehical u can replace it in a weekend

ON MY 03 LINCOLN AVIATOR,WHEN I PRESS THE GAS PEDAL IT BOGS DOWN,NO POWER OR ACCELERATION.

Check for a vacuum hose leak, you know for sure you do if you hear a high-pitched squeal in the engine compartment. There are vacuum lines near the rear of the engine near the firewall. Check them for holes that may have opened up from dry rotting tubes.

  1. Raise the liftgate and remove the rear lamp assembly screws.
  1. Remove the rear lamp assembly.
    • Disconnect the electrical connectors.
  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
    • If necessary, install new tail lamp bulbs.
