2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee interior lights our

2 of the interior illumination lights on my instrument cluster on my 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee are out. The C/T button and the Reset button both do not illuminate but the other buttons (Step and Menu) are illuminated. All other interior lights work fine. How do I fix this problem?

SOURCE: 2 of the interior illumination

The bulbs for those buttons are burned - just take out the instrument cluster and replace them. Beware, the trim on it is quite fragile, remove it gently or take it to a repair shop and let them worry about it.

2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee guages reset

You can try doing a re-calibration of the cluster. To do that.....
Begin the test with the ignition switch in the OFF position. 2. Depress the odometer/trip odometer switch button. 3. While still holding the odometer/trip odometer switch button depressed, turn the ignition switch to the ON position, but do not start the engine. 4. Release the odometer/trip odometer switch button. 5. The instrument cluster will simultaneously begin to illuminate all of the operational segments in the VFD units, and perform a bulb check of each operational LED indicator. The VFD segments and LED indicators remain illuminated as each gauge needle is swept to several calibration points and back. If a VFD segment or an LED indicator fails to illuminate, or if a gauge needle fails to sweep through the calibration points and back during this test, the instrument cluster must be replaced. 6. The actuator test is now completed. The instrument cluster will automatically exit the self-diagnostic mode and return to normal operation at the completion of the test.

Jeep cherokee 1995 problems

Found these three fuses for instrument. Not only check the fuse, use a test lite and check voltage on fuse circuit. As you can see, one fuse is hot all the time, one goes hot with key on, the other rheostat controlled. I saw two ground wires, the primary color for both is black.
As far as instrument cluster illumination, there may be other fuses. You may have interior dimmer control where you can brighten and dim interior lamps.

1996 jeep grand cherokee, interior lights wn't shutoff

Have you tried checking the dimmer switch for your instrument panel? I believe if the switch is slid all the way up it will cause the interior lights to stay on. Hope this helps.

Where is the fuse for the tail lights for jeep '96 grand cherokee

Unfortunately, could not find owners manual for 1996.

Website only has models 2004-current
=> http://www.jeep.com/en/owners/manuals/index.html

There are two fuse boxes. One under driver compartment usually left to the steering colum. A label is stamp to identify each fuse. I would look at Park Lights and Instrument Cluster fuses. The easy way is to take a flashlight and look at all fuses. If they are all okay. Then just remove the Park Lights and Instrument Cluster fuse and reseat them. The other fuse box is under the hood and near the batter. It also has a label to identify each fuse.
