How could the timing belt cause a parking brake light flash? (That is the light he's talking about) This may mean you have low fluid. Check your ABS and brake fluid levels.

check out http://forums.fourtitude.com/zeromain there is some diy posts which will show you the location for your a3 outside temp sensor. I suggest that replacement is the best solution unless the connection is just corroded then a good contact cleaner should solve it.

this means that one or more of over 200 electronic engine control malfunctions has ocurred, u must get the system tested for the trouble code(s) that was stored with the light coming on.

It's a check engine light, have it checked right away. If you take it to a Ford dealer, they can give you a very detailed diagnosis, however they also charge about 80 bucks just to do that. If you take it to an auto parts store (AutoZone, Advance Auto Parts, NAPA, etc.) they will often be able to check for free, but it won't be the most detailed solution.
