I have a 2000 Pontiac Bonneville se, my A/C works but only on the passenger side, the drivers side blows hot air i check the ac fuses and they are good, the fuses said blower 1 and blower 2 so i would like to know where they are located so that i can see if its a blower problem, but its blowing but only blowing hot air

I would have the system checked first. It could be low on freon. if the system checks out, then, If you have dual air, the motor is probably bad. It is under the dash, at the center console on the drivers side. Not the easiest thing to replace. But better than what am going to say next. If you have single control, then it is the blend door inside the air plenum(they break). The entire dash has to be removed. You also have to drop or remove the steering column.

I never heard about a need to "reset" a blend door.
Are you trying to fix a condition where the passenger side blows hot or cold, but opposite the temperature of the driver side?

If a/c, you probably need some Freon recharge. If heat, check your coolant level.
My 2005 Bonneville had this problem with the a/c. I looked at the blend doors for hours, before getting a clue about the low Freon.

Sounds like the blend door motor isn't working.

the heater vacuum motor and lines needs to be checked.Also get the blend door checked.

Sounds as if the door actuator has quit working on the driver's side. this is a very difficult unit to access and should be done with courage or by an expert "groan" dealer.

My 2000 Bonneville would do that when the pressure in the ac system was low. I had a leak in my system and bought a recharge kit and charged it when it got low. The correct way is to fix the leak of course, but this worked for me for the last 8 months until I had it fixed this week.

Either the door that controls whether air from the heater or ac is stuck in between or the ac system is having trouble. Minivans sometimes have seperate compressors for the rear and front.

heater core may be going bad...things to check.. heater core, thermostat, anti-freeze/coolant, wires to the heater.

sounds like the vacuum lines that direct the air over the evaporator is maulfactioning and let it blow air over the heater core all the time
