In this case i suspect air intake,did you replace the air filter?or get the air intake regulater checked to what you are saying its one of those two.adrian,,,

maybe the fuel pump is bad? or fuel injectors may be dirty? maybe running some fuel systems cleaner will help? please give me 100% rating i only need 2 more :)
pump may be operating with broken impellers. Recommend you replace pump and sending unit--they may come together anyway. Any more questions, please let us know.
The problem is almost certasinly that dried gas residue has plugged the injector spray tip, most likely they are ruined and will need to be replaced, the only way to determine this 100% is to have a dealer run a injector flow test, they may be able to power clean them, here is the price of the replacements.
If you had a strong stream of gas shooting out then you may have an fuel injector problem. Possibly a clogged injector or bad injector.If the stream of gas was weak replace fuel filter first and test again.If problem persists check pump fuse then replace pump. sorry for miss reading your post.
