We have a 2003 buick rendezvoue , the problem is on cold days going down the road the temp gauge goes down to cold and no heat , when parked and sitting while running , it puts out good heat.

Sounds as if the thermostat is not regulating heat effectively. It may need to be replaced

The dealer cost is about 475 and a shop cost is 385 and do it yourself is 106,since your getting other work done means it sounds fair,3 hours to do water pump.Here's a link on doing the water pump. WHAT IS THE HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR BANK 1 SENSOR? WHERE IS THE SENSOR HEATER? CAN i FIX IT MYSELF? ALSO,,, EGR SYSTEM FAULT,,,WHERE IS THE PRESSURE SENSOR? CAN i fix it myself?

Oxygen sensor bank 1 is the first sensor in the exhaust system. It should be located between the exhaust manifold under the hood and the catalytic converter. The one after the catalytic converter is the bank 2 sensor. The sensor heater is located in the sensor itself...it can only be replaced as a whole. You should be able to change this yourself with the correct size wrench... just unplug sensor, loosen and remove. Replace with new sensor the same as removed. This could be causing the egr system fault as well.

. Remove accessory electrical junction block,
and position aside. Loosen water pump pulley bolts.
Remove drive belt. Remove water pump pulley
bolts and pulley.
. Remove water pump bolts, water
pump and gasket. To install, reverse removal proced
ure using NEW gasket. Fill and bleed cooling
system.

The car cigerette lighter does not work how do i fix it i checked the fuse box but i dont know wut the cigerette lighter is listed under its a 2003 biuck rendezvou

your fuse #32 of 20amp is out under the hoodbox, replace with anotherone or the spare #67 under the hoodbox. =] problem solved.

How to change a water pump on a 1999 Buick Century 3100?

the water pump on the 3.1 isnt to hard to change ...

Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Partially drain the cooling system into a suitable container.
Remove the drive belt guard.
Loosen the water pump pulley bolts before removing the drive belt. This should help keep the pulley from turning as the bolts are loosened.
Remove the drive belt. Remove the water pump pulley bolts and remove the pulley.
Remove the water pump bolts and separate the pump from the engine front cover.

1. Drain the cooling system until the coolant is below the level of the water pump. 2. Remove the drive belt guard. 3. Loosen the water pump pulley bolts. 4. Remove the drive belt. 5. Remove the water pump pulley bolts. 6. Remove the water pump pulley. 7. Remove the water pump bolts. 8. Remove the water pump. 9. Remove the water pump gasket. 10. Clean the water pump mating surfaces. Installation Procedure 1. Install the water pump gasket. 2. Install the water pump Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions. 3. Install the water pump bolts. Tighten the bolts to 10 Nm (89 inch lbs.). 4. Install the water pump pulley. 5. Install the water pump pulley bolts. 6. Install the drive belt. Tighten the water pump pulley bolts to 25 Nm (18 inch lbs.). 7. Install the drive belt guard. 8. Fill the cooling system
