Verify all of you grounds, from the battery to the starter, to the body. also, i believe that these cars have a starting fuse (check).. last but not least, verify your battery is good.
Not too bad. Not much room, just enough to drop the starter. It is probably easier to go up through exhaust if you can get your exhaust shield off the manifold .
