    1. Remove back seat with buttons on each side at front of seat
    2. Pull back the plastic layers and you will find on right hand side a metal panel, remove screws and you will find you can lift this panel to the side and there is a fuse box under this
    3. Remove screws from this and lift out, and you will locate a yellow fuse box with fuses in it.
    4. Remove both fuses for 1-2 mins then replace the yellow one last while someone holds the button for the boot located on the drivers door.
    5. Boot will open !! Battery in boot;)

Key issue/ mechanical doesn't fit hole

Your car may have had a new ignition switch installed - hence the different key. The FOB may not be programmed properly to lock / unlock. Have you contacted a MB dealer?

I took the battery out and left my key inside of my 99 Mercedes c280 trunk,

Try using a battery jump box with a cigarette lighter adapter, plug it in to the cig. lighter, you might be able to get power to some of the fuse box to use door lock switches or trunk release button .

On 1994 mercedes benz s320 central locking will not work by key or dash switchhave checked the fuses i can find, when door key is turned pump under rear seat works for about 10 seconds any clues where to...

The locking system is controlled by vacuum . It is really hard to figure out because there are so many things that need to be checked. You can look for broken vacuum hose under the hood. Or under the dash. There are vacuum controls in the doors. Theres a vacuum canister in the trunk. Good luck This may help some. Leave comment.

I have a 1999 Mercedes S320, Do you know how the trunk and doors will automatically compress when you close them. For example when I close my trunk it is suppose to compress tightly once I manually close...

There are 2 pneumatic pumps in your vehicle. one is vacuum and is for your central locking, located under your rear seat bench. The other is pressure and is called your closing assist pump. It is in the trunk behind the rear liner. It also operates you reverse antennas(optional). Your doors and trunk lid are closed by pressure valves that work like little teeter totters. There is an updated relay called a convenience relay located in the right side of the trunk. It stores all the window paramers(for express up and down) as well as your closing assist parameters. In the right side of the trunk there is a fuse box. If you remove the closing assist fuse( I beleive it is # 15) for 15 seconds and then reinstall it, the parameters for your closing assist will be reset. It is possible that your vehicle already has the updated relay(called a relay but actually a microprocessor) and there is a leak in the system. After reinstalling the fuse you can see what doesn't work( one of the doors or trunk, reverse antenna) and isolate the faulty component. If everything works o.k. let it be because they have always been problematic and when they happen to fail just reset it. hopefully I have been helpful.

Trunk qill not open

Your trunk lock actuator is probably in valet mode. Take the mechanical key out of your smart key(should have a release button on the bottom of the key which will allow you to slide the hidden mechanical key out of the plastic housing) insert it into your trunk lock actuator and turn to change your function of trunk actuator. In the valet mode the trunk does not respond to your central locking or release button commands. Your owner's manual will tell you about these features. I hope I have been helpful

My mercedes clk battery dead i cant open trunk

On the side of the smart key there is a mechanical key that slides out of one of the sides-There should be a little release lever retaining the mechanical key. It can be inserted into the trunk lock and turned to open the trunk. There are several other positions the key can be turned to place the trunk lock actuation in different modes- it should be in your owner's manual Hopefully I have been helpful
