when you say left, is that PASSENGER side or DRIVER side? Left if seated in car or left if standing facing under hood?

SOURCE: 2000 Dodge Grand Caravan need to know where relay

the cooling fan relay is not in the fuse box.

it is a solid state relay bolted to the radiator core support just behind the bumper

My cooling fans not working on 1997 dodge grand caravan sport

First check fan fuse and relay if they are good then the coolant temperature sensor could be faulty. You can cross the two wires going to coolant temperature sensor and if the fan comes on then the coolant sensor is faulty.Make sure the ignition switch is on when you cross the two wires.

Have 2000 dodge grand caravan had to replace radiator now neither fan will come on checked 40 amp fuse in box under hood its good any suggestion

make sure the electrical connector is connected properly.there is also a relay that controls the fans.it sounds like the fans were working before the rad was changed so its probably something simple.make sure the cooling system is full of coolant as if its low the sensor that sends the signal to the computer to turn on the relay to turn on the fans may not be getting reading the proper temperature.

FUSE AND RELAYS LOCATED UNDER THE HOOD IN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT.TO LOCATE RELAY LOOK IN GLOVE BOX FOR OWNERS MANUAL IT WILL TELL YOU TELL WHERE THE COOLING FAN RELAY IS SINCE THERE ARE MANY OF THEM.

2000 grand caravan 3.8 Condenser fans not comming on with a/c ...fans do cycle with engine temp compressor is engauging and a/c is trying to work but gets hot fast with no ..... fan working

Check under the hood in the fuse/relay panel. Lift the cover and look inside the cover for the correct location for the fuse/relay controlling the cooling fans. Either the fuse will be blown or the relay is bad. Use a test light to check the fuse for power on both sides,if you have power on the fuse then the relay has gone bad. Hope this will help you.

I appreciate the help regarding the Dodge ?2002? radiator fan relay switch, but I can?t find a replace part anywhere on the web. What I see is a replacement ?relay radiator fan? and nothing about a switch....

The device that turns the radiator fan on is a temperature sensor on the lower radiator hose towards the engine block. That could be the switch that you are referring to. When the coolant reaches a certain temperature it tells the radiator to turn on. The relay then sends the power to the fan.

I replaced my radiator cooling fan motors both of them on my Dodge Grand Caravan and i replaced the relay and fuse and coolant temparature sensor and my fans still won't work.

check for battery power at pin 4 of rad fan relay connector..ground at pin 1..jump pins 3 and 4..fans should work..if not, check harness about 3-4 inches away from relay connector..have seen these corrode..if fans work, the engine controller may not be grounding relay..any codes in engine controller?engine light on?
