Tail lights keep blowing fuse 50 , brake lights and turn signals still work, this is a 2002 lexus es 300

could be the fuse for the brake lights if its blown you will not be able to get the transmission out of park its a safety precaution built into the car so your not driving with out brake lights check all your bulbs in the tail lights and turn signals look for water in the tail/signal light this will cause the blown fuse and the bulb will be broken and the glass will be discolored with white smoked tint to it this comes from the bulb exploding from +/- touching each other blowing the fuse, another thing to check would be your brake light switch if you change the fuse and step on the pedal and if the fuse blows and the same thing happens that's the problem LATER MAN!

check wiring on shift columb going to turn signal switch it could be the switch it self I had this happen on a new chevy truck hope this helps good luck jerry

usualy there is a faulty earth to the bulb cluster remove them and clean all the conectors spray the harness and cluster with wd40 or similer put all bulbs back in and see if that works but i would go with a bad earth hope this helps ivan uk

have some one check brake lamp switch under dash by brake pedal arm.Could be disconnected or bad.

there is not a separate fuse for the right rear turn signal, its probably the bulb. you will need to remove the tail lamp from the vehicle to get to the bulb

Is it a tail light warning light or a brake warning light. If the latter, check your brake fluid.

where do you have the power wire for stereo hooked or hooked into?

Easy. You can do it. Nothing special other than the clips that hold it in may be tight.

Carefully look at each bulb you replaced. You will find that you have replaced a double contact bulb with a single contact bulb or vise versa.
