Spark plugs I was going to replace my plugs in a 2004 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD 6 litre when I noticed a metal housing (maybe some kind of heat sheild) around the area where the plugs would enter the block. The wires are hard to release from this sheild. does the sheild come off with the wires or do they stay in place. I didnt want to tug real hard on the wires not knowing what may happen. Could you answer my problem and maybe a tip on how to remove? Thanks, Craig

The heat shields are attached to head under spark plug. Need to turn boot on wire all around & then wiggle back & forth & pull upward.

How do you fix a knox sensor on a 2003 chevy silverado HD 2500 6.0 litre

It has two of them. Sorry to say that they are under the intake manifold and you must remove the intake manifold to gain access to them.
